Waist beads are one of the oldest forms of feminine adornment, rooted in African tradition and worn for centuries as symbols of beauty, sensuality, protection, and self-awareness. At Red Butterfly Sanctuary, we carry that tradition forward and make it personal for you. Each strand is a quiet declaration. Something worn close to the skin, known only to you unless you choose otherwise.

All strands are handmade with glass beads on high-strength braided thread, water-resistant, safe for the shower, and designed for comfortable long-term wear. Our Love 50' adjustable strands can be worn on all sizes of waists up to 50".  If you need a little more length, you can choose our Extra Love 60" strand. All sizes are the same price, because everybody deserves access to beautiful adornment without penalty.
